つい先日リリースされたThunderbird1.5ですが、どうやらhotmailの受信が可能のようです
というよりエクステンションが対応したというのが正しい表現ですが(´▽｀*)ｱﾊﾊ
以前記事にしたThunderbirdでHotmailを受信する（１）とほぼ同じですが、改めて導入方法を記事にしようと思った今日この頃です
妙に長い記事になりますが、まぁ付き合える方はお付き合い下さい( ´ー｀)y-~~
ちなみに例によって対応しているhotmailのドメインは@hotmail.comです
やはりというか、予定通りというかドメインが@hotmail.co.jpのメールアドレスは受信いたしません
あしからずご了承下さい
ちなみにドメインが@hotmail.comのメールアドレスは取れないこともないようです
MSN Japanからhotmailの新規アカウントを取得する際、国を選ぶ箇所がありますが、そこを日本以外の国に設定するとドメインが@hotmail.comのアドレスが取得できるようです
まぁほとんどの方が@hotmail.comのアドレスを持っていると思いますが…(´▽｀*)ｱﾊﾊ
さて、まずThunderbird1.5でhotmailを受信するためには２種類のエクステンションが必要です
激しく感謝(TдT)しつつ、Webブラウザ（できればFirefox…、いやIEでもいいけどwww）でWebMailというサイトにアクセスします
当Blog管理人はこのページの管理人さんに足を向けて寝れません⊂⌒~⊃｡Д｡)⊃
WebMailにアクセスしたら「Install」⇒「Download」の順にクリックしていきます
「Download」ページにたどり着いたら、エクステンションを２つダウンロードします
１つは「Web-Mail-0.9.1」、もう１つは「Hotmail-0.10.1」となります（バージョンは2006/01/24現在のものです）
ダウンロードしたファイルは適当なフォルダに保存しておいてください
まぁデスクトップに置いておくのが一番かと思われます(￣ー￣)
次に、そろそろThunderbirdを起動します
Thunderbirdを起動したら、さきほどダウンロードした２つのエクステンションをそれぞれインストールします
エクステンションのインストールの仕方は様々ありますが、代表的な方法は
１）「ツール」⇒「拡張機能」から開いた拡張機能ウィンドウの下部にある「追加」ボタンをクリックし、ダウンロードしたファイルを選択する
２）拡張機能ウィンドウにダウンロードしたファイルをドラッグ＆ドロップ
が代表的な方法でしょうか？
今さらですが、一応書いておきます(´▽｀*)ｱﾊﾊ
２つのエクステンションをThunderbirdにインストール後、例によってThunderbirdを再起動します
Thunderbirdを再起動後、拡張機能ウィンドウを開き、「WebMail」の項目を選択し「設定」をクリックします
上のスクリーンショットのように「POP」と「SMTP」が「Running」と表示されていることを確認しましょう
「IMAP」の項目は「Running」となってなくても特に問題はありません
確認後、拡張機能ウィンドウを閉じてください
次にアカウントの追加を行います
「ツール」⇒「アカウント設定」からアカウント設定ウィンドウを開き、左下の「アカウントを追加」というボタンをクリックすると「アカウントウィザード」が開きます
上のように「アカウントの種類」という画面になるはずです
ここでは「メールアカウント」を選択し、「次へ」をクリックしてください（「Web Mail」を選択しないようご注意を！）
「次へ」をクリックすると上のように「差出人情報」という画面に変わります
「あなたの名前」の欄には、お好きなお名前をどうそ
ただしhotmail送信時に、ここで記載した名前で送信されることをお忘れなく(￣ー￣)
「メールアドレス」の欄にはもちろんメールアドレス記載します
ちなみにスクリーンショット中の「Thunderbird1.5@hotmail.com」というアドレスは架空のアドレスです
両方とも記入したら、「次へ」をクリック
次に「サーバ情報」という画面が表示されます
ここが今回、唯一難しいといえば難しいところです
でも簡単です(´▽｀*)ｱﾊﾊ
まず「メール受信サーバの種類」は「POP」を選択してください
そして「メール受信サーバ」の欄には「localhost」と入力してください
ここがポイントといえばポイントです
「共有受信トレイを使用する」と書かれている項目は、お好きにどうぞ
チェックすればThunderbirdのローカルフォルダにメールが保存されます
チェックを外すと、今回追加したアカウントの固有フォルダにメールが保存されます
３つの項目を設定後、「次へ」をクリック
次に「ユーザＩＤ」という画面が表示されます
「受信ユーザＩＤ」という欄が１つだけあります
この欄には必ずメールアドレスを記入してください
メールアドレスを記入後、「次へ」をクリック
次に「アカウント名」という画面が表示されます
「アカウント名」という欄がありますが、ここはお好きにどうぞ
名前のとおり「アカウント名」を決めるだけです
メールアドレスでも良し、名前でも良しです( ´ー｀)y-~~
「アカウント名」を記入後、「次へ」をクリック
次に表示される画面が最後です
最後の画面は例によって設定の確認画面です
間違いがないか確認後、問題なければ「完了」をクリックします
これでhotmailのアカウントの追加は完了です
ためしにhotmailを受信してみてください
パスワードを聞いてくるはずなので、パスワードを入力するとhotmailを受信するはずです
きっと…(((((((( ；ﾟДﾟ))))))))ｶﾞｸｶﾞｸﾌﾞﾙﾌﾞﾙｶﾞﾀｶﾞﾀﾌﾞﾙﾌﾞﾙ
ちなみに余談ですが、拡張機能ウィンドウから「Hotmail」を選択し、「設定」をクリックすると下の写真のようにhotmailのアカウントが表示されます
うまくアカウントが設定できているかどうかの確認にご利用下さい
